Dr. Blount received his Degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 2011. Before obtaining his dental degree, he attended Clarkson University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Bio-Molecular Science, summa cum laude. Dr. Blount completed his residency at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center in Syracuse, NY furthering his clinical skills in general dentistry.

Dr. Blount is currently a member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, and the Fifth District Dental Society of New York. Dr. Blount stays current in the field of dentistry by regularly attending continuing education courses. He is an active member of the Spear Education group which focuses on complex dental cases.

Dr. Blount has been a resident of New York his entire life. He grew up in the village of Pulaski, NY, and currently lives in Manlius, NY with his wife and three children. Outside of the practice, Dr. Blount enjoys spending time with family and friends and enjoying the outdoors. His family loves to visit relatives at Sandy Pond, NY during the summers. Dr. Blount appreciates maintaining a practice in Central NY close to family and friends.
